Joint Conclusions of the Economic and Financial Dialogue

The Economic and Financial Dialogue between the EU and the Western Balkans Partners, Türkiye, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine

On May 14, 2024, representatives of the EU Member States, the candidate countries and potential candidates, the European Commission, the European Central Bank, as well as representatives of the central banks of the candidate countries and potential candidates met for the annual economic policy dialogue in Brussels. This year’s dialogue was notable as Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine participated in the dialogue for the first time after becoming candidates for EU membership.

Regarding Serbia, in the report, it is noted that Serbia submitted its Economic Reform Programme 2024-2026 on January 15, 2024.  It indicates that the implementation of the policy guidance outlined in the conclusions of the Economic and Financial Dialogue of May 16 2023, has been partial. While some progress has been made, there are still gaps in fully adhering to the recommended policies and reforms.
