MODS Candidates in Parliamentary Procedure for Members of the REM Council

At a meeting held on January 20, 2025, in the National Assembly building, authorized proposers from associations dedicated to the protection of children convened. Their task was to finalize proposals for two candidates to serve as members of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media (REM) Council.

By majority vote of the associations focused on child protection, our candidates, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Krstić and Prof. Dr. Dušan Aleksić, were submitted to the parliamentary procedure.

In the next step, the Committee for Culture and Information will organize a public hearing with all candidates, in accordance with the deadlines prescribed by the Law on Electronic Media. Following this, the National Assembly will be presented with candidate lists for the election of nine members of the REM Council.

We extend our gratitude to all organizations for their engagement and awareness of the importance of this process.
