The regular annual Assembly of the Network Organization for Children of Serbia (MODS) was held in Kragujevac from November 3 to 5, 2017. The session was chaired by Radomir Jevti\u0107<\/strong>, president of the Association “Step Forward” from Kru\u0161evac.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the working session, the Assembly first reviewed The Network Report<\/strong> for 2016, presented by the Director Sa\u0161a Stefanovi\u0107, The Report on the Work of the Steering Committee<\/strong> presented by the President of the Board of Directors Jasmina Mikovi\u0107 and The<\/strong> Report of the Supervisory Board<\/strong> presented by Olgica Beba Baji\u0107, the President of this body. After a brief discussion, the Assembly adopted unanimously all the reports submitted.<\/span><\/p>\n

MODS has a new Steering and Supervisory Board<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

The MODS Assembly then proceeded to select new members of the Steering Committee, as well as to decide on the admission of new organizations to the Network membership. The elected members of the Steering Committee are former President Jasmina Mikovi\u0107<\/strong> (Praxis), Iva Erakovi\u0107<\/strong> (Children’s Friends of Serbia), Kenan Ra\u0161itovi\u0107<\/strong> (Youth Forum for Roma Education), Tatjana Lazor-Obradovi\u0107<\/strong> (Know How Center), Dragana So\u0107anin<\/strong> (AgroInvest Foundation Serbia), Marija Petrovi\u0107<\/strong> (Child Rights Centre), Gordana Plemi\u0107<\/strong> (Parent), Vesna Mrakovi\u0107-Jokanovi\u0107<\/strong> (SOS Children’s Village Serbia) and Mladen Milutinovi\u0107<\/strong> (Open Club).<\/span><\/p>\n

The new members of the Supervisory Board are Radomir Jevti\u0107<\/strong> (Step Forward) and Ana Jovanovi\u0107<\/strong> (Center for Creative Development Knja\u017eevac) and Aleksandra Jovi\u0107<\/strong> (UNICEF).<\/span><\/p>\n

The MODS Assembly has admitted 16 new organizations <\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

MODS also received a record 17 entries for membership, and the organizations had the opportunity to present themselves to the Assembly in a short speech, and after that, they became new members of MODS by the decision of the Assembly.<\/span><\/p>\n
