{"id":2027,"date":"2017-08-31T10:24:43","date_gmt":"2017-08-31T10:24:43","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/zadecu.org\/en\/?p=2027"},"modified":"2017-08-31T10:25:29","modified_gmt":"2017-08-31T10:25:29","slug":"new-composition-council-rights-child-representative-mods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/zadecu.org\/en\/new-composition-council-rights-child-representative-mods\/","title":{"rendered":"The new composition of the Council for the Rights of the Child has a representative of the MODS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>The Council for the Rights of the Child<\/strong>, the body of the Government of the Republic of Serbia, <strong>appointed<\/strong> <strong>Jasmina Mikovi\u0107<\/strong>, the Deputy Executive Director of Praxis, and the President of the Board of the MODS, <strong>as their member in their new convocation.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Slavica \u0110uki\u0107 Dejanovi\u0107, a minister without portfolio in charge of demography and population politics, is at the head of the Council for the Rights of the Child, the new convocation of which was established by a decision of the Government of the Republic of Serbia on July 27, 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The MODS expects that a constituent session of the Council for the Rights of the Child will be held very quickly, bearing in mind that we currently lack the basic strategic documents in the field of children&#8217;s rights, and that it is necessary to work intensively on developing mechanisms for coordination of activities and measures in the field of protection and realization of the rights of the child.<\/span><\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><a style=\"color: #3366ff;\" href=\"http:\/\/zadecu.org\/zapazanja-i-komentari-mods-povodom-izvestaja-o-sporovodjenju-akcionog-plana-za-poglavlje-23\/\">*** Observations and comments by the MODS on the Report on the Implementation of the Action Plan for Chapter 23<\/a><\/span><\/h5>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We remind that with the Action Plan for Chapter 23, the Government accepted an obligation to strengthen its role in the formulation and monitoring of children&#8217;s rights policies.
